Welcome to Waxahachie ISD
-
We are excited that you have chosen Waxahachie ISD for your educational journey. As a public school system, WISD welcomes all students living within the district's boundaries who meet the state's age and health requirements.
Waxahachie ISD students are designated schools according to their residential address. Exceptions include Wilemon STEAM Academy, Global High School, and High School of Choice which admit students through an application process, rather than by school zone. Marvin Biomedical Academy is a zone plus, choice campus with seats available via lottery. For more information about admissions to these schools, please contact the respective campuses.
All enrollment can be completed online. For those preferring in-person registration, it is highly recommended to schedule an appointment by contacting the campuses directly. Although walk-ins are welcome, individuals with appointments will be given priority.

Pre-K & Kinder
- Qualifying Pre-K students in the district will attend Turner Prekindergarten Academy, Marvin Biomedical Academy, Northside Elementary, or Ray Elementary. The Roundup page provides further details.
- Visit the Pre-K page and Kinder page for enrollment and qualification details, or schedule a visit with one of the campuses.

Returning Students
- All returning WISD students are required to enroll online via Skyward Family Access before the first day of school. Parents must be registered with Family Access to complete online enrollment.
- If unable to upload the required documentation to Skyward during the online enrollment process, please ensure these documents are delivered to the student's campus during normal business hours. This will guarantee that elementary students receive a classroom assignment on Bring Your Supplies Night, and secondary students receive a schedule either in Skyward or at pickup.
- Visit the Documents page for useful information such as campus handbooks, course catalogs, dress codes, student code of conduct, and the school supply lists.
