Blended Learning

Students at High School of Choice engage in a dynamic online curriculum that provides flexibility while maintaining clear expectations for timely course completion. Blended learning empowers students to take ownership of their academic journey, striking a balance between autonomy and structure.

Smaller Learning Community

High School of Choice offers a more personalized educational experience within a smaller learning community. Our positive school culture and climate foster meaningful relationships, support, and a sense of belonging, ensuring that every student feels seen and heard.

Credit Recovery

If you have previously failed to earn a credit, High School of Choice provides targeted credit recovery opportunities. Our supportive staff and flexible programming help learners get back on track and make progress toward graduation.

Accelerated Learning

We understand that every student’s path is unique. Flexibility in pacing is supported; however, steady progress is closely monitored and determined by staff expectations, ensuring academic goals are met with care and consistency.

Application & Enrollment

Enrollment is open to all Waxahachie ISD students, grades 10–12. Application submission is available online.

Interview Process

Applicants and their families will be invited to an interview with the Director of Alternative Learning to determine if High School of Choice is the ideal choice for you. Applicants who are 18 years of age or older do not require a parent's presence at the interview. However, it is strongly encouraged.
