The objective of the Coleman Junior High chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, promote worthy leadership, and encourage the development of character in 8th grade students of CJH.

• Membership in the Coleman chapter of the NJHS is an honor bestowed upon 8th Graders.
• Selection for membership by the Faculty Council is based on outstanding character, service, leadership, and scholarship.
• Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities.
• Members will be selected in May of his or her 7th Grade year.
