My name is Ray Blanco and have served in education for almost 20 years.  It is an honor and privilege to serve as principal at Finley Junior High.  I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and moved to Texas in 2016 with my wife Lizzy. Shortly after, we were blessed to welcome our daughter, Sophia, who is going into a dual language program in Kindergarten this year. I am a first-generation American, born to Cuban immigrant parents. Lizzy is also Cuban, and we speak Spanish primarily at home. I am also fluent in Italian and American Sign Language. I served 6 years in the United States Navy as a cryptologist technician, attended Nova Southeastern University for my undergraduate degree in psychology, Dallas Baptist University for my graduate degree in educational leadership, and am pursuing my doctorate in rural school leadership at West Texas A&M. I believe our students deserve the best we can offer to positively impact the challenges the world of tomorrow presents.

I’m Heather Jackson, and I’ve been passionate about education since 2015. I’m a proud graduate of the University of North Texas and am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal. On a personal note, I’ve been happily married since 2009, and my family is my pride and joy. I have three wonderful children: Gage, Dayten, and Presley. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me at my daughter Presley's cheer competitions, enjoying the great outdoors, or cheering on my favorite sports teams—Go Cowboys!

Mr. Walker has been a dedicated teacher at Finley Junior High since 2021. Since his career in education began in 2016, he has instructed various CTE courses, 7th and 8th-grade science, spearheaded the elementary and middle school PLTW program, coached baseball and track, and taught yearbook.  Mr. Walker and his wife, Amberly, relocated to Waxahachie in 2008 and are proud parents of six children.
