Stephanie Heimbuch, M.Ed.

 

Mrs. Stephanie Heimbuch has served in education since 1996 in a variety of roles.  She has served as 3rd and 5th-grade teacher, district curriculum coordinator for Math and Science, and assistant principal at both elementary and intermediate campuses.  Mrs. Heimbuch received her Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern State University in May 1996, and her Master's of Education in Leadership and Policies from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 2006.

 

Mrs. Heimbuch’s passion for education is “to help students grow in all facets of life and become life-long learners.”  She has lived this passion in her educational experience through working with students in all areas of growth including Special Needs, ESL, Bilingual, and Gifted.  Mrs. Heimbuch has specifically worked with English Learners for the past 12 years in her role as assistant principal and coordinator of Bilingual/ESL.  She is blessed and excited to be working with the teachers, students, and families of Dunaway Elementary.

 

Mrs. Heimbuch has three children, twin girls that attend Wedgeworth Elementary as Dual Language learners and a son soon to be serving our country in the Air Force. She loves to spend time gardening, reading and playing with her children.

Ginger Alemán, M.Ed.

 

Ginger Alemán began her career in education in 2001 at Dallas ISD.  During her time there, she taught grades 1-3 and Spanish as a World language instruction for grades K-6.  Mrs. Alemán joined WISD in 2015, as a 5th-grade dual language teacher at Wedgeworth.  Additionally, she served in the Dual Language program as a WISD bilingual coordinator.  Mrs. Alemán received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.  Mrs. Alemán is passionate about empowering students and teachers to grow to their fullest potential.  She is married and has 4 daughters.  Mrs. Alemán is honored to serve the students, families, and staff at Dunaway!
