Stefani Foster

Mrs. Foster has been an educator for 12 years. For 9 of my 12 years, I have been an Indian! This is my second year as Principal and I hold steady to my belief that I was put here on Earth to serve and help others.  It brings me complete joy to have the opportunity to make an everlasting impact on children.

From Brene Brown- “Dare to Lead” As you think about your own path to daring leadership, remember this wisdom: “The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”  Own the fear, find the cave, and write a new ending for yourself, for the people you are meant to serve and support, and for your culture.  Choose courage over comfort.  Choose whole hearts over armor.  And choose the great adventure of being brave and afraid...at the exact same time.

Master's in Education Leadership

Erica Brown, M.Ed.

From as early as she can remember, Erica Brown had a desire to serve as an educator in the public school system. Beginning her career as a paraprofessional in 2011, Mrs. Brown's longing to serve others started in Ferris ISD. From there, Mrs. Brown transitioned to serving in Waxahachie ISD as a teacher. She felt a strong connection with new families and students. She worked diligently to grow her students and partner with her community. In 2018, Mrs. Brown felt a calling to pursue a degree in Educational Leadership. She graduated with honors in 2019 and holds a Master's in Education Leadership. She has served in many leadership roles on campus and within the district. Mrs. Brown's desire to serve and partner with families remains the number one priority. One of Mrs. Brown's favorite quotes is from Dr. Rita Pierson. It reads, "Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." Mrs. Brown is looking forward to serving alongside Mrs. Foster at Northside Elementary! Together, they will make a dynamic duo!
