Waxahachie ISD has named Corey Johnson as the head boys basketball coach for Waxahachie High School.
Johnson is a ten-year veteran coach and hails from Duncanville. He spent eight seasons as an assistant with Duncanville and has served as the head boys basketball coach at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas.
“Coach Johnson is the right choice to continue our storied success and tradition,” said Greg Reed, WISD Athletic Director. “His energy, passion, and knowledge will impact both our basketball team and school community.”
