Waxahachie ISD Names Sean Cagle Director of Student Services
Waxahachie ISD has named Sean Cagle as its new Director of Student Services. In this role, Mr. Cagle will assist campus administrators with fair and consistent administration of discipline policies, oversee attendance for the district, manage the district transfer process, and more.
Mr. Cagle has served Waxahachie ISD for more than 20 years, most recently as the district’s Director of Fine Arts. He has also served as an assistant principal at Waxahachie High School and a classroom teacher at the junior high and high school levels.
“Mr. Cagle is an experienced educator who brings a wealth of knowledge to this role,” said Dr. Jerry D. Hollingsworth, WISD Superintendent. “We look forward to Mr. Cagle’s work with our campuses to ensure students are successful in academics, attendance, and behavior.”
Mr. Cagle holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Waxahachie Ex-Students Association and a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows. He and his wife, Dani, are both Waxahachie High School graduates and are the parents of three Waxahachie High School graduates.
