Waxahachie ISD Hires Bragg as Simpson Elementary Principal
The Waxahachie ISD Board of Trustees voted this evening to name Christy Bragg as the principal of Simpson Elementary School.
Mrs. Bragg currently serves as the assistant principal at Clift Elementary School, a position she has held since 2021. Prior to that, she served as an elementary school teacher in Waxahachie ISD, Red Oak ISD, and Millsap ISD.
“Mrs. Bragg is a dedicated leader who promotes a positive learning environment and supports instructional staff,” said Lisa Mott, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Leadership. “She will bring that same dedication to the students and staff of Simpson Elementary School, and we are excited to see what she will accomplish along with the Simpson staff.”
Mrs. Bragg holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, both from Tarleton State University. She and her husband have twin daughters.
