Employee Childcare

WISD Child Care Center welcomes all children of WISD employees from birth to 5 years old. The center operates in accordance with Federal and State laws, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, age, handicap, religion, national origin, or political belief. The child care center is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and Child Care Services, a division of the Texas Workforce.

 

The purposes of the center include meeting the developmental needs of the child served and acting as a supplement to his/her family by providing an atmosphere of activity and learning. The center is designed to accommodate 75 children from birth to 5 years old.  Only WISD employees may apply for enrollment of their children.
