FAQs
Waxahachie ISD is working closely with both TXDOT and the City of
Waxahachie to address concerns regarding existing roadways leading to
WCHS. Spur 394 has been approved and phase one will provide passage
from IH 35 E at Waxahachie Crossing to Howard Rd. Construction will begin
in the coming months. The City of Waxahachie plans for additional
improvements to existing roadways in the area as well.
WCHS will not have a natatorium. Funding required for a natatorium would
require passage of a bond.
We believe the input from our community, staff, and students is critical in
establishing new traditions specific to this new campus. As we draw closer to
the opening of WCHS we will work diligently to establish unique traditions
that continue to celebrate and honor Waxahachie.
