Early Childhood Special Education

Waxahachie ISD Special Education Department provides early childhood programs for children ages 3 to 5 years with disabilities. Children with vision and/or those who are deaf or hard of hearing may be eligible for services beginning at birth. A child with an identified physical, mental, perceptual, speech/language, social, and/or emotional disability may be eligible for the ECSE program. Any person aware of young children suspected of having a disability is encouraged to call (972) 923-4638 to initiate the Child Find process.
