Bond Elections

Voter Approval for Funding School Facilities

School districts must get voter approval before issuing bonds to fund projects like renovating or building schools. This process allows voters to decide on district borrowing, which is repaid over time, much like a mortgage. The school board calls for a bond election, and if approved, can issue and sell bonds as needed for facility upgrades.
