Career and Technical Student Organizations
Character Development
CTSOs spearhead the character development component of the CTE experience by providing opportunities for students to utilize leadership and technical skills in selected career pathways. CTSOs integrate into the CTE classroom and extend well beyond. They use innovative programs and projects to enhance students' learning by competing alongside other students at the regional, state, and national levels. This powerful avenue teaches students important lessons in teamwork, leadership, workforce development, global competitiveness, and overall success. WISD students participate in the adjacent CTSOs.
