Communication Protocol

The Waxahachie Independent School District Board of Trustees consists of seven members who are elected in May. Each trustee serves a three-year term, with terms rotating to ensure continuity in leadership.

The Board holds regular meetings on the second Monday of each month at the WISD Administration Building, located at 411 N. Gibson Street. While meetings are typically conducted as scheduled, they may be rescheduled in response to unforeseen circumstances, such as school holidays or adverse weather conditions. Any alterations to the meeting schedule will be communicated to the public promptly.

Members of the public are both welcome and encouraged to attend Board meetings. Prior to bringing specific concerns or suggestions before the Board of Trustees, individuals are expected to fully utilize all appropriate channels within the district.
