Lighthouse for Learning

Waxahachie ISD believes that education is a lifelong pursuit and we strive to carry out this belief in our community. The implementation of the "Lighthouse for Learning" community education program provides adults the opportunity to become lifelong learners.

WISD's Lighthouse for Learning is a cooperative effort between WISD, Texas A&M Extension Agency, Navarro College SBDC, Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, and many business owners and talented citizens in Waxahachie. The classes are a fantastic way to enrich your life by learning a new trade, improving your job skills, getting healthier, or learning something new and fun!

Lighthouse for Learning offers adult community/continuing education classes at Waxahachie High School on Monday and/or Thursday nights in both the Fall and Spring semesters. The fall semester begins in September and the spring begins in February.

We encourage you to explore the catalog, register for classes, and be part of this lifelong learning experience. To view the current Lighthouse for Learning catalog or to register and pay online, visit the links on this page.

Waxahachie ISD Partners in Education are proud to present the Fall 2021 semester of Lighthouse for Learning.

Registration opens on July 15 and classes begin September 9.
