The Wilemon STEAM Academy first through fifth-grade lottery application is now open!

Early voting for the May 1 Joint Election runs April 19-24 and 26-27.

April 19-25 | 8 a.m. — 5 p.m.

April 24 | 8 a.m. — 4 p.m.

April 26-27 | 7 a.m. — 7 p.m.

Registered voters can vote at the Ellis County Elections Office and the Waxahachie ISD Administration Building.

Election Day is Saturday, May 1 from 7 a.m. — 7 p.m.

The athletic and fine arts signing day will take place on Thursday, April 29, at 1:45 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Waxahachie High School. 

If you are a Waxahachie High School student who has committed their post-secondary endeavor to athletics or fine arts, please communicate with your coach or teacher your interest in participating in signing day. 

Parents and participating students will receive day-of instructions once they have notified his or her coach/teacher.  The deadline to register for this event is Monday, April 26, 2021.

The Spirit of Waxahachie Color Guard is hosting auditions on May 8 from 8 a.m to 1 p.m.  Practice sessions will take place on April 26-29, May 4, and May 6 at the Waxahachie High School practice gym and Indoor Activity Center from 5-7:30 p.m.  Additionally, a parent information meeting will be held on April 27 at 7:30 p.m.  For information, email Denise Armstrong.
