Accountability
The State of Texas academic accountability system assigns ratings to districts and campuses annually. Schools are measured against similar campuses for academic performance overall and within small subgroups of student types. To ensure our students are receiving everything they need to succeed, Waxahachie ISD, along with the Texas Education Agency and the U.S. Department of Education, provide the reports listed below.
The TEA announced that A-F ratings are paused again for the 2020-21 school year due to the ongoing disruptions associated with COVID-19. STAAR testing will proceed in order to provide parents and educators critically important information about individual student learning and gauge the impact of the pandemic on education.
Due to the impact of the pandemic, all districts and campuses have been labeled Not Rated: Declared State of Disaster for 2021.

TAPR Glossary & Guidelines
The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
