Principal’s Newsletter

I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve as the principal of

Margaret L. Felty Elementary.  When the doors open in August 2008, you will feel the excitement, too.  I look forward to bringing together a dedicated staff, eager students, and committed parents to form the Felty Elementary Family.  New traditions in excellence will be made as we become a community of learners.  Felty Elementary will be a place for students to expand their world in a new, supportive, and enriching school climate.  

Construction Update: 

 Each day brings us closer to completion.  The entry area into Felty is magnificent.  The colors inside the school are teal, green, and gold.  The tile adds so much color in the hallways of the classrooms.  The walls clearly define all the areas now.  Soon cabinetry will be installed throughout the school.  We are still scheduled for completion in July. 

Felty Elementary will be special ....... a place to make a difference and to build the future.

Let's Get Acquainted: 6:30 p.m. on May 5th at the Fine Arts Center.

This is a chance for Felty parents and students to meet the Felty staff and learn about Felty Elementary.

PTO Information Night: 6:30 p.m. on May 12th at the Ninth Grade Academy Library.

Tour the School:  August 11th from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
