Waxahachie ISD to host Job Fair

Want to work for a rockin’ school district?  Ready to make a difference in the lives of students?  Then Waxahachie ISD is the place for you!  Waxahachie ISD will host a job fair on Saturday, April 19^th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Waxahachie Ninth Grade Academy. No pre-registration is required.  Administrators from every campus in Waxahachie ISD will be available to meet and talk with you about the opportunity to teach for the district. 

All certified teachers, counselors, librarians, and other educational professionals are invited to attend.  Certified refers to applicants who hold a standard, provisional or professional Texas Certification.  Those who are certified in other states may apply with the provision that their credentials will be reviewed by SBEC prior to May 2008.

If you will be completing a Texas university teaching program and you will be certified by the start of the 2008-2009 school year, you are invited to attend the WISD Job Fair.  Applicants who are currently accepted into an alternative certification program and will receive a "statement of eligibility" in either bilingual, secondary science, secondary math are also invited to attend.
