Lighthouse for
Learning
Lighthouse for Learning, a
cooperative effort between Waxahachie ISD, Navarro College, the
Texas A & M Extension Agency, United Way, Master Gardeners and other organizations and businesses give adults the opportunity to become a
life-long learner. Lighthouse for Learning offers adult
community/continuing education classes at Waxahachie High School on
Monday and/or Thursday nights.
Classes are offered that are
technical in nature and others that are “for fun”. Many classes can
enhance and provide skills for individuals. Community Education also
serves the community and meets needs by providing GED and ESL
classes. Classes are offered in both the Fall and Springsemesters.
The fall semester begins in late September and spring begins in
mid-February. The current Lighthouse for Learning Catalog may be
viewed on-line for a complete listing of classes offered.
